The City Engineer’s Office is responsible for all engineering and design work on streets, sidewalks, water and sewer systems, and all improvements of public and city facilities. The engineering department is not involved in any engineering of the electric utility. If you would like more information about Ocala Electric Utility.

PUBLIC MEETING:
FISHER PARK POND EXPANSION AND UPGRADES TO TWO LIFT STATIONS
OCALA, Fla. (Nov. 13, 2023) – The City of Ocala will host a public meeting to present an expansion to the existing Fisher Park Pond and upgrades to lift stations (LS) #9 and #22 on Monday, Nov. 27, at Fisher Park, 900 SE 22nd St., 5:30 p.m. This project is scheduled to begin Tuesday, Nov. 28, and will take 180 days to complete.
Construction will take place Mondays through Fridays, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. During construction times travelers may experience delays, noise, dust and heavy equipment within the project areas. All necessary devices will be in place to redirect traffic.
