Music lovers of all ages will enjoy Sunset Songs Series! This free concert series on the downtown square brings you the best local and regional artists performing funk, blues, reggae, and country originals as the sun goes down. Kick back and soak in the melodies with the perfect Wednesday night activity. If you love music and sunsets, the Sunset Songs Series is for you! End your day on a melodic high note at these not-to-be-missed community concerts.

Fortune Child

Rock - Soul - Blues. Three fundamental sounds that power trio, Fortune Child, blend and mold to create serious sonic badassery. Over the course of one-year, Christian Powers (lead vocals/drums), Buddy Crump (guitarist), and Jon Ward (bassist) have begun to redefine the Rock genre while still holding true to their roots. Boasting powerful leads, long jams, and a genre-bending sound, the band is carving a path of its own.

In the short time that they've been together, Fortune Child has already taken to the stage with the likes of The Black Crowes, Joe Bonamassa, Cedric Burnside, Shovels & Rope, All Them Witches, King Buffalo, Jared James Nichols, Tuk Smith and many more to come.
