Levitt AMP Ocala: The Sensational Barnes Brothers w/ Mwiza (Genre: Soul/Gospel)
The 2024 Levitt AMP Ocala Music Series presents The Sensational Barnes Brothers with opening artist Mwiza on Friday, May 3 from 7 – 9 p.m. outside at Webb Field at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Complex.
The performance is FREE. Please bring your chairs and blankets. Food is available from local food trucks and dessert brought to you by our sponsor Kona Ice Ocala. Fun field games and activities with the Ocala Recreation and Parks Department along with local non-profit organizations will be present.
Each concert in the series also features live painting by local visual artists and a local non-profit organization intermission. This week’s featured non-profit is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Commission.

The Sensational Barnes Brothers are a melting pot of old and new, blending gospel soul, R&B, and roots to create a sound that reflects the music of their history. Before forming the duo, The Sensational Barnes Brothers, Courtney and Chris performed with the rest of their family as the Barnes Family.
Inspired by their shared past, fueled by harmonies that resonate with both their blood and their kindred spirits, The Sensational Barnes Brothers see themselves singing, playing, and dancing for a long time to come.

OPENING ARTIST: Mwiza
Tampa singer, songwriter Mwiza is from Lusaka, Zambia. His music is inspired by gospel and the musicians his mother favored when he was growing up. His soft-spoken singing voice fills a room having his love of music shine through his performance.
